The ZEISS Primostar 3 is a compact microscope with a robust metal frame, designed for routine laboratory and educational use. Its user-friendly operation allows users to focus on specimen examination, while this configuration combines brightfield and phase contrast observation.
It includes iPlan-Achromat 4×, 10× and 40× Ph2 objectives, as well as an Abbe condenser with a BF/Ph2 slider. Phase contrast is available with the 40× Ph2 objective and helps with the observation of unstained specimens with low natural contrast. With the 10×/22 eyepieces, the total magnifications are 40×, 100× and 400×.
The fully adjustable Full-Köhler illumination system, ergonomic stage controls and two-slide holder facilitate routine laboratory work. The microscope also features Light Manager, ECO mode and a phototube for attaching a compatible camera. The camera is not included.
