Walker Protect Ankle splint

The Walker Protect Ankle Brace is a lower-leg orthosis designed for immobilisation of the foot in a specified position. The product is intended exclusively for orthotic use on the foot and only on unbroken skin.

The hook-and-loop system allows for easy wound inspection and maintenance of personal hygiene.

Indications

• Following Achilles tendon injuries (postoperative or non-surgical)
• For stable foot or joint fractures, as well as postoperative fracture care (non-surgical treatment)
• Following luxation of the ankle joint
• Following ligament, soft tissue, or tendon injuries (postoperative or non-surgical)

Contraindications

• Not suitable for unstable fractures
• Not intended for fractures of the proximal tibia or fibula
