The ZEISS Primostar 3 combines a robust metal construction, compact dimensions and ease of operation for everyday laboratory use and education. It is designed for routine specimen observation, with an emphasis on practicality and working comfort.
This configuration features a fully adjustable Full-Köhler illumination system, allowing the light to be adjusted during brightfield observation and supporting the teaching of the Köhler illumination method. The 10×/22 eyepieces provide a wider field of view than the 10×/20 versions. The iPlan-Achromat 4×, 10× and 40× objectives provide total magnifications of 40×, 100× and 400×.
The ergonomic stage controls and two-slide holder facilitate everyday laboratory work. The Light Manager and ECO functions support illumination management and energy saving. The microscope features a phototube for attaching a compatible camera, which is not included.
