The ZEISS Primostar 3 is a robust and compact optical microscope designed for everyday laboratory use and education. Its sturdy metal construction is built to withstand frequent handling, while its compact dimensions and ease of use make it ideal for laboratory bench work.
This binocular configuration features fixed Köhler illumination, allowing straightforward brightfield observation without the need for full Köhler adjustment. It includes four iPlan-Achromat objectives: 4×, 10×, 40× and 100× oil immersion. Combined with the 10×/20 eyepieces, it provides total magnifications of 40×, 100×, 400× and 1000×.
The 100× objective requires suitable immersion oil, and a 5 ml bottle is included in the package. This version features a binocular viewing tube without a phototube.
