    RESCUE SAM is a semi-automatic external defibrillator. It is designed to assist in rescuing patients through simple and direct voice prompts and indications. It is lightweight and battery-operated for easy portability.
    The purpose of the RESCUE SAM defibrillator is to treat ventricular fibrillation (VF) and rapid ventricular tachycardia (VT), which are life-threatening arrhythmias and the most common causes of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), requiring immediate intervention. The treatment consists of delivering an electric shock through the myocardium—known as defibrillation—which helps restore the sinus rhythm.
    It operates with a lithium battery, provides audible and visual instructions in Greek, and is easy to transport and use.
