Burnshield is an advanced anti-burn medical device suitable for the treatment of first, second and third-degree burns, even in cases where the skin is damaged.
Its unique formulation provides immediate cooling and optimal hydration of the affected area, helping to reduce pain and limit the progression of the burn.
The earlier Burnshield® is applied to the burn area, the greater the reduction or prevention of further burn damage. For maximum effectiveness, continue application for at least 15 minutes after the pain has disappeared.
With no known contraindications, Burnshield® is also suitable for use on abrasions, chemical burns and radiation burns.
Burnshield burn dressings and blankets are made from extremely soft and flexible fabrics impregnated with hydrogel. They do not stick to wounds and can be removed easily without causing additional pain.
Ready for immediate use in both single and multiple burn situations, Burnshield® products provide effective first aid care in emergency conditions. They are sterile and individually packaged in polypropylene pouches with a silver inner lining to ensure protection and maintain product quality.
