It features various operating modes such as pure cut, cut with coagulation, forced coagulation, soft coagulation, and bipolar coagulation (with forceps). It can operate with either single or double grounding.

The Open Circuit (OC) alarm warns the user that the neutral grounding plate is not connected, that the cable is disconnected, or that the neutral plate is not in contact with the patient. The alarm is indicated by an intermittent sound signal accompanied by a flashing red light on the front panel. In this case, HF output for cutting and coagulation functions is automatically interrupted.

OVT alarm: The unit includes an internal protection warning system that activates when the device has been in use for an extended period.
