The PAX WOW is a patient transfer sheet designed for the recovery and transport of patients with no suspected spinal injury. Manufactured from highly durable, non-absorbent materials, it provides maximum safety and a high level of hygiene during use.
It is ideal for transporting patients on stairways or in confined spaces where the urgency of the situation or the environment prevents the use of a stretcher or evacuation chair. Featuring two adjustable shoulder straps and reinforced carrying handles, it enables safe and efficient transport by two or more rescuers, depending on the patient's weight.
The inner handles provide increased patient safety and improved support during transport.
The adjustable side shoulder straps help rescuers maintain proper lifting technique, significantly reducing muscle strain and fatigue.
The foot support can be adjusted to two positions, improving patient support and stability throughout transport.
The folding aluminium rods consist of three sections connected by an elastic polyester cord. They are inserted into dedicated side sleeves along the fabric, increasing the rigidity of the transfer sheet and distributing the patient's weight more evenly. This minimizes fabric flexing during transport. After use, the rods can be removed, folded into three sections, and stored in the dedicated pocket.
A top pocket with magnetic closure provides convenient storage for the folding rods and shoulder straps when not in use, keeping all accessories organized while maintaining the transfer sheet's compact size.
The integrated restraint belts securely immobilize the patient, ensuring maximum safety throughout every stage of transport.
