Monofilament non-absorbable POLYAMID suture can generally be used for the approximation, retention in contact and/or convergence of soft tissues but its use is not indicated for the tissues of the central cardiovascular and central nervous system. The non-adhesion of the POLYAMID suture to the tissues allows its easy and painless removal. The POLYAMID suture is usually removed within a month.
