Iodoform impregnated gauze 1cmx 5m

The Opraclean iodoform gauze by Lohmann & Rauscher is a reliable solution for wound cleansing and care. It is supplied in a roll measuring 5 meters in length and 1 cm in width, ensuring flexibility and ease of application.

Made from 100% cotton gauze and impregnated with iodoform, it effectively absorbs wound exudate, cellular debris, and bacteria. It is suitable for both external wound coverage and internal application in deep wound cavities.

Upon contact with wound secretions, the iodoform breaks down and gradually releases small amounts of iodine, providing continuous antimicrobial action. It is important to note that no resistance of pathogens to iodine has been reported.
