Germocid Disinfectant Powder is a medical technology product for rapid cold chemical sterilization.

• The peracetic acid formed from the reaction of sodium percarbonate and tetraacetylethylenediamine (which is produced after dissolving the product in water) acts effectively as a biocidal agent against viruses, fungi (HIV, HBV, HCV), bacteria, mycobacteria, and spores. With a 1.6% solution concentration, sterilization is completed within 10 minutes. The product is activated in 15 minutes after dissolution, while the solution remains active for 24 hours. Germocid Disinfectant Powder is suitable for rapid cold sterilization and disinfection of endoscopes, surgical and dental instruments, molds, etc.
• The product remains active even in the presence of organic matter (e.g., blood). In such cases, it is recommended to first clean the device using a suitable enzymatic detergent.
