Venous ulcer treatment on the lower extremities requires a smart move, the Ulcer Kit Double Sock, which can deal with it. It consists of two socks that are worn one on top of the other, the mediven Ulcer sock and the mediven Ulcer Plus sock. The white Ulcer sock helps hold dressings for wounds that may be present on the leg, and the outer Ulcer Plus sock is placed during the day for added compression. With also 20 mmHg compression, the necessary therapeutic compression of 40 mmHg in total is ensured by the 2 socks. The knitting of this special sock contains silver elements, which help heal wounds and have an antibacterial effect.
