Ethicon Monocryl Plus absorbable suture is a synthetic, monofilament suture that provides exceptional pliability and smooth passage through tissue. It is made from Poliglecaprone 25, a material that ensures excellent tensile strength and minimal tissue reaction.

Monocryl Plus features an antibacterial coating with triclosan, which helps reduce the risk of surgical site infections. This suture is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, but is not recommended for cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery, or ophthalmic surgery. Its smooth surface allows for easy handling, smooth tissue passage, and secure knot tying.

 Indications:

• Monocryl Plus is recommended for use in skin closure, subcuticular suturing, plastic and cosmetic surgery, general soft tissue approximation, and gynecological procedures, where an absorbable suture with high initial tensile strength is required.
