Τhe Melag Vacuclave 118 S of the Pro-Line is a Class S autoclave and an inexpensive alternative for all practices that do not require a Class B autoclave due to the instruments used. The reliable and powerful autoclave offers safe sterilization of packaged instruments with simple hollow bodies, such as articulated instruments such as scissors, needle holders and clamps, thanks to the fractional vacuum process.

With a chamber volume of 17 liters, the Vacuclave 118 S offers enough space for sterilizing up to 4 kg of instruments or 1 kg of textiles on 5 trays. The sterilization process takes only 13 to 23 minutes, plus timed drying, making the autoclave ideal for use in medical facilities such as practices, clinics or laboratories and podiatry.

The stand-alone concept with integrated water tanks and effective patented air cooling of the vacuum system allows location-independent operation without cooling water. As an option, the robust Melag Vacuclave 118 S can also be connected to the MELAdem 40 and 47 water treatment systems using a fixed water connection set for the feed water and wastewater.

The innovative smart touch display with LED status makes the device very intuitive and easy to operate. The menu structure is structured like a smartphone, so the functions are particularly easy to control.

Connectivity and data logging ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The sterilization parameters are logged via USB stick, network connection or by means of a protocol printout with a MELAprint 80 printer. This means that all relevant data can be stored, archived and conveniently managed without any problems. In conjunction with the optional MELAtrace approval software, the hygiene workflow can be implemented in an even more time, space, and cost-saving way.

The Power Save energy-saving mode offers top energy efficiency by putting the heater and display to sleep mode between sterilizations – saving energy and costs.

The EasyCare routine concept rounds off the forward-looking concept of the Pro-Line S-Class autoclaves – filter replacement, tank cleaning and water supply can be carried out in a particularly efficient and user-friendly way.
